theMill-blogI wanted to update you on some exciting news and changes that are taking place at Naked Element.

As you know, our mission as a business is to provide innovative, cost-cutting technology solutions which enable our clients to work more effectively. We’re hugely proud of the results we achieve and of the relationships we have with some great businesses and organisations.

Our people:

To enable us to continue to grow, whilst delivering the highest possible levels of service, we have restructured the business to ensure we can work in a smart and streamlined way.

  • As managing director of Naked Element, I will continue to be your first point of contact for all project-related matters; leading on the development of new solutions to help your business as well as overseeing all technical work.
  • Many of you already know Lauren Gwynn. Lauren’s role has developed so that she is now taking on more of a project management role, as well as providing essential administrative and business development support to the business.
  • I’m pleased to tell you that we have appointed a junior developer. Lewis Leeds joins us initially as a full-time apprentice, and we are training him to be an all-rounder in software development. Lewis has a natural aptitude for developing, having started to teach himself to programme before he joined us: he is already showing a real talent for Ruby on Rails.
  • And finally, Naked Element has appointed a company secretary. Caroline Hargreaves will be responsible for running the Naked Element business; taking care of essential management and logistics including contractual matters and billing.

After several years with Naked Element, Matt Wells has decided to step down from the business to focus on other interests. We wish Matt all the very best in his new endeavours.

Other news:

Over the last couple of years we’ve been asked many times if we can deliver web design and development services. So I’m excited to tell you that we will be launching new web design and WordPress development services in the very near future. If you are looking for an affordable but impactful website solution, please give me a call.

Nor(DEV):Con 2015 was a great success and for the first time in 2016 we will be running the event over two and a half days. I’d like to invite anyone who hasn’t attended in the past to get in touch to find out how Nor(DEV):Con might benefit you and your team.

So…we have lots to celebrate here at Naked Element. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and look forward to continued, successful partnerships.
